In the summer of 2024, wildfires covered the Northeast in thick smoke. Inside our home, the air was just as bad—maybe even worse. We had no air purifiers or special filters, and we felt sick just breathing indoors. Once the fires cleared, we knew we had to find a way to prevent this from happening again.

Why Clean Air Matters

Good air is key to good health, but getting it isn’t always easy. Many air purifiers are too expensive, and we’re learning that everyday household items—like furniture, cleaning products, and even candles—release chemicals into the air we breathe.

Many homes don’t have built-in air filters like central AC systems. Instead, people rely on window AC units to stay cool.
